In some instances, the SMSes may even appear in the same thread as legitimate SMSes from Standard Chartered. These SMSes or emails could be sent from a number and/or email address which may appear to be from Standard Chartered or similar sounding sender names such as Standard Charter, S Chartered, StanCharter. There have been reports of SMS and email phishing targeting bank customers in Singapore.
